With the cycling season warming up to the Giro Italia in a few days time and progressing to the Tour d'France,  it is good to understand the tactics and the strategies involved in the lead out train of the Sprinters.

This video is from EuroSport and is one of the best videos explaining the tactics and mechanics involved. Easy to follow and the graphics mirroring the actual lead out is astounding and simple to understand.

Where It All Began

It all started innocently enough. My son asked me if I could join him for evening rides. He has a polygon bike that I got for him for RM500. It was heavy but it had 6 speed and rather bomb proof.
